Most new and small service-based entrepreneurs spend more time working IN their businesses than ON it. They struggle with the many different challenges and getting the desired results.
And getting clients is one of the main challenges for all types of service-based entrepreneurs. Without clients, we will not have enough income, and therefore there is no business.
It does not matter what business we are in or what the size of our business is – whether we have a team or if we work as a solo entrepreneur.
We are all faced with this challenge and we should overcome it fast. It matters greatly.
I remember that I had this challenge when I started my second business years ago. I was so happy when I got my first paying coaching client. It felt so good to get paid to make a difference in someone’s life through my services.
However, the tears of joy soon turned to tears of frustration because I didn’t know how to get clients consistently. I tried several ways and followed various strategies with only very slow incremental progress to show for it.
I was extremely frustrated until I met a businessman who asked me a simple question, which proved to be a turning point for my business.
He asked me, “What is going on inside your business?”
This is a simple question, but If you want to answer it properly you need to be clear about your current business situation.
It was the day that I learned “CLARITY IS POWER” and understood why the strategies that I had used did not work effectively.
During these years, I learned that there are three main elements to running a successful business.
1) Business Clarity, which comes from getting a clear vision about our current situation and what we want;
2) Business Strategies and Roadmaps, which show us how we can make it happen; and
3) Business Systems, which help us work less, influence more and scale our businesses based on #1 and #2.
And from the elements above, Business Clarity is a game changer and drives success for businesses.
In the next article, I will write more about the importance of business clarity and how it can help you to build and run your business successfully.
